College for inspection and personnel management welcomes professors and researchers from all over the World.

  1. BILATERAL AGREEMENTS

Most guest professors arriving to their study/research visit to our College arrive through signed bilateral agreements on cooperation. All provisions are proscribed with the agreement on cooperation.

In most cases, guest professor are entitled to accommodation (with some exceptions pending on the respective agreement, e.g. University of Pecs).

IMPORTAINT: If you are entitled to per diem you need to have OIB (personal identification number)

General health care services can be accessed by selecting a primary health care physician, whereas health care on other levels (e.g. hospital, specialist examinations) can be accessed by way of a reference document (uputnica) issued by the selected physician.

PRIOR to your arrival in Split be sure to contact your academic partner at the College of inspection and personnel management and/or Office for International Cooperation to arrange the dates and details of your visit at our College.

ACCOMODATION

COMPUTER SERVICE, LIBRARY.. at the Faculty

As a guest professor you have the opportunity to use the wireless internet at our College, use the internet at your Split address, use the library, etc.

PAYMENTS ( scholarship, grants, etc )  

If you are to receive a scholarship, grant, or payment from our College, you need to have the *OIB  (personal identification number) issued by the Tax Agency of Croatia.

*In accoradance to EU rules; Erasmus + staff is entitled to Erasmus mobility subsistence amounts. College can not provide additional per diems for Erasmus guest staff.

ABOUT THE COLLEGE

The College of Inspection and Personnel Management in Split was established in 2011 due to deficiency of professional staff in maritime industry of the Republic of Croatia and worldwide, and the needs of educated professionals who can respond creatively to maritime and transport development demands. Professional study of Inspection and Personnel Management aims to create such experts with competence in maritime and transport. Duration of professional study of Inspection and Personnel Management in Maritime Affairs is three years, with a total study load of 180 ECTS credits.

During the studies students acquire basic theoretical and practical knowledge after which are awarded a title of a Professional Bachelor (baccalaureus/baccalaurea) Engineer of Inspection and Personnel Management in Maritime Affairs (bacc.ing.admin.nav.). Students are trained for specific jobs in industry, as well as for acquisition of new knowledge and technology.

FIELD PROFILE
At the College of inspection and personnel menagement students are provided with opportunities to explore various courses in maritime affairs, management, information sciences, communicology, quality and enviromental management system, economisc and other.

CAREER PROSPECTS
During the studies students acquire basic theoretical and practical knowledge after which are awarded a title of a Professional Bachelor (baccalaureus/baccalaurea) Engineer of Inspection and Personnel Management in Maritime Affairs (bacc.ing.admin.nav.). Students are trained for specific jobs in industry, as well as for acquisition of new knowledge and technology. In addition, during the course of study they develop creative thinking, independent and team work, and ability to make business decisions at all levels of decision-making.
